Speaking of sweatshirts, a little joke that I’ve always had in my head but might never make it into a story is that it became sort of an injoke that Sherlock and John are always referred to in the media as a “trailblazing power couple” to the point that the fan forums start calling them the TPC. One day they get a package, a gift from a fan, which is a pair of matching t-shirts that both say “TPC/2.” John is like WE HAVE TO WEAR THESE SOMEWHERE. They do end up wearing them to a casual LGBT event of some kind which they will eventually attend once some time has passed.
