I have a confession to make.

This may cause you to question my worth as a person and seriously doubt the existence of my soul, but I just can’t labor under this burden of secrecy any longer. I have to be honest. I can’t deny my nature.

I don’t care about the Muppets.

Not even a little bit.

I never wanted to be any of them. My childhood is not the story of them. I saw the movies, sure. I didn’t watch the show a whole lot, but enough (I was a Sesame Street girl, mostly). I just don’t harbor any nostalgia or fondness for them. At all.

Therefore I am finding their sudden ubiquity a little…weird. Miss Piggy is now a red carpet correspondent? A judge on Project Runway?

SHE’S A PUPPET.

Wow, I feel unburdened. I’m sorry if this materially alters your opinion of me. I just couldn’t hold it in anymore.

Who is the MadLori?

I'm Lori. I'm 38, a scientist and a freelance writer. Fanfiction is my drug of choice. This is where I dump all my obsessive fannishness along with whatever else strikes me. At the moment the dominant fandom is Sherlock. That can change at anytime. Be warned. Eye protection should be worn in this area.

I have published one novel, a gay romantic thriller, under my pseudonym. You can buy it here or at Amazon.
