sealy7 asked: Do you know any applications or other tools to use that would shut off my internet/distracting websites AFTER a certain time? I'm having trouble with procrastination and the like. :/

Actually, I do.  I have a little program called Freedom (google it) that just shuts off your internet for however long you specify.  You cannot disengage it without totally rebooting.  It’s pretty brilliant.  It isn’t until I did some writing with the program running that I really realized how much fucking time I waste on the tubes.

Who is the MadLori?

I'm Lori. I'm 38, a scientist and a freelance writer. Fanfiction is my drug of choice. This is where I dump all my obsessive fannishness along with whatever else strikes me. At the moment the dominant fandom is Sherlock. That can change at anytime. Be warned. Eye protection should be worn in this area.

I have published one novel, a gay romantic thriller, under my pseudonym. You can buy it here or at Amazon.
